We recommend you arrive in Okinawa between 1 and 15 August. The earlier you arrive the better because you will need time to get an ID card, find a car, start looking for an apartment, and get used to your new home before having to report for orientation.   Please understand there may be very limited on-base and off-base billeting due to renovations with on-base lodging facilities.  Please let us know as soon as possible when you plan to arrive.  In the event that you should arrive and for some reason there is no one to meet you, please call please call the District Office at 098-961-1204.
