Orientation for Teachers New to Okinawa

All teachers new to Okinawa will attend a one-day orientation before the start of the school year.  The orientation is on Tuesday, 25 August from 0830 to 1500; you will be in a pay status for attending.  This will take place at Kadena High School, Kadena Air Base.  The morning session will focus on processing paperwork through the DoDDS-Pacific/DDESS-Guam Personnel Office.  Other community representatives will be available with information regarding their services.  The afternoon session will be an introduction to District personnel.   These sessions will be followed later in the evening by a picnic/social for you and your family at the Kadena High School cafeteria
