Along with Mr. Grade, I would like to extend a heartfelt welcome to the BEST Middle School in the world. What makes Lester Middle the Best is our students, supportive parents, community volunteers and caring professional staff. Middle school is an important time in a child’s life. These are the years when experiencing positive relationships, being genuinely engaged in learning and developing high self esteem have a major and lasting impact on each young person. Young adolescents benefit from a supportive learning environment that engages, challenges and motivates them as learners. Their connections to each other, their family, community and school are central to developing resilience, tenacity, independence and intellectual growth.
